Hansen N. Hunt
I am the creator and writer of Unomos.com, a personal travel blog taking you along with me on my adventures. I am born and raised in San Diego, California and studied International Business Development with a focus on Sustainable Tourism at Whittier College. I was the recipient of the Nixon Fellowship and conducted research about sustainable artisan business practices in Mexico. I have been blogging since 2007 and meanwhile working in Internet marketing for an online travel agency. I started my first Internet business when I was 18 and am currently working on my next project. I plan on publishing (both online and offline) sustainable travel guides focusing on specific destinations. My Unomos Guides will help people who are interested in sustainable travel experience a place by connecting and supporting the local people and culture rather than simply consuming artificial experiences as a traditional tourist would. It is my mission to help people travel the world and leave a positive effect on the places traveled in order to allow the next person to experience it in the same way. If you are interested in contributing to the Unomos Guides, please contact me and include what destinations you would be able to write about.
I am currently available for all types of travel writing and some of my stronger subjects are sustainable tourism, Mexico, backpacking, budget travel, cultural travel, and eco-travel. Please contact me at unomos (at) gmail.com if you would like me to write for you. I also do freelance Internet marketing, from SEM to Social Media. I prefer to work in travel related fields, but will consider any opportunities.
